Cute purses

Happy Birthday Kim

A few weeks back I was invited to an "0" birthday celebration for a girl I used to work with. Jokes had been had between birthday girl (Kim) and another colleague about making Kim a red and white quilt for her birthday. Well as the quilt had already been made I decided to make a doll for Kim in her fav colours of Red and White.

and I had a heap of fun making her. Her dress is a red spot and her bloomers were red and white Toile.

Quilt for Dad

Just thought I would post a pic of the quilt I finally made for my dad. It was his birthday yesterday and if the photo doesn't give it away - he loves horses.

I'm sooooo excited!!

Now that I have a blog, I need to learn how to drive it. There is so much to learn about blogging. Whilst blog surfing the other day I stumbled across Jackie's blog http://bwquiltchallenge.blogspot.com/, and guess what?! Jackie is running a Black and White quilt challenge. Now for all of you out there who know me, you know I just love anything Black and White. So after approaching Jackie about the challenge, I was very excited to be asked to join. I just have to now get myself sorted and get some pics and links up onto my blog - I just wish I had more hours in the day.

After surfing in blog land for many months now and yes, becoming quite addicted, i decided to create my own. This blog will be a place for me to post pics of my quilts and other creations.
